Blog journal from Ray

Computer blog

 1) the computer has 4 main parts
- input: the data that is entered into the computer ex. info, time etc.

-storage: a place where information in a computer can be stored

-processing: the interpretation of data according to the instructions of a program or by the microchip itself

-output: Computer generated information displayed to the user ex. screen display, printed page, or sound.

2)
Humans can be described as computers because we do have input. our brains, feeding off the information that we learn about like reading or watching or hearing. humans have two storage areas, our brain; can stores information that we learn, and our stomachs; storing the food we eat. for humans our brains act as our processors, making sense of what we learn, or store in the brain. and finally humans have output when we talk, or write down information.

3) Humans are not computers because we have free will, we follow instructions well enough but will not follow through with it if we sense that we are in danger. humans are not cold and made of metal, we are warm and made of skin tissue.  and most importantly of all we have feelings, computers can never generate love, or happiness, or sadness but us humans can.

4) A laptop/ desktop computer is different from other kinds of computers like Ipods or watches and other things is the data. the amount of data that a computer can handle laptops and desktops can take more data and give out more data than an Ipod. also uses are what separates them as well. for a laptop/desktop they are more flexible being able to surf through the web, or play music, or use as  video game console, or even act as a phone contacting people from far away places with programs like skype, Msn, or omegle. as another computer like an Ipod or a watch has really a static use like to play music or just to display time.
